Scott N. Goldie, PhD

This is the website for Scott N. Goldie, PhD. I hold a Doctor of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. I am currently a National Research Council Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

My experiences include teaching at a Research Institution, the Regional or PUI Level, and at the Community College Level. My research experiences range from the the undergraduate level at Wayne State University with Professor D. B. Rorabacher, graduate level at Michigan State University with Professor G. J. Blanchard, and postdoctoral work at the National Institute of Standards and Technology with Dr. Lori Goldner. I have posted information and results of these experiences. The pages can be accessed by using the menu at the left at any time from any page. My professional experiences were in quality control laboratories in beverage bottling and medical diagnostic manufacturing.

This website will serve as an on-line portfolio including a current curriculum vitae, teaching philosophy, research plan, and pages covering my research and teaching experiences, again accessible from the left hand menu. PDF versions of my curriculum vitae and teaching philosophy are also available, but require Adobe Acrobat Reader. A link to download the software required is at left.

This site has been developed using two freeware HTML editors, 1stPage2000 and OmniPage. I prefer these programs to a program like Microsoft FrontPage, since I have better control over the content and structure of the HTML code.
